Before visiting, all I really associated with Ireland was sheep. A few weeks on the road revealed beautiful green hills, rugged coastal cliffs, music in small towns, and a country with its own distinct character, shaped by its history. Ireland gets a lot of rain throughout the year, which helps keep everything looking fresh and vibrant green.
Ireland turned out to be so much more.
